FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
We always joke that there are NO easy answers here, these explanations are guidelines and there are exceptions to every rule so please ask if you're not sure about something! We're glad to help...
~ Does JJ Stitch have minimum orders?
For clothing, the answer is almost always no. We are happy to do one jacket or shirt if that's all you require. The one exception is hats and we require a minimum order of 24 hats per logo. For non clothing items, minimum orders are determined by our suppliers and clearly visible on their websites. Minimum quantities will be high for inexpensive items and lower for higher priced items.
~ How long until my order is ready?
Our average turn around time is 4-6 weeks but we can usually accommodate tight timelines upon request. Factors such as shipping times and unavailable stock can sometimes slow things down and certain methods/items just take more time than others.
~ Can I pay with my credit or debit card?
No. At this time we only accept cash, cheques or email transfers. Sorry for any inconvenience. One notable exception is that credit cards and debit cards are accepted through our online store platforms.
~ Do you do alterations or replace zippers?
No. The automated process of embroidery is a far cry from the intense handiwork required to properly hem a pair of pants or put in a new zipper. We are happy to refer you to an excellent local seamstress and most zippers that come from JJ Stitch are warrantied for one year.
~ Do you design logos?
This is a bit of a gray area. We are quick to admit we are NOT graphic designers. However, we are creative and deal with many customers that come to us without an existing logo. We can put together some simple ideas and if you like one, we will use it for your order and have no problem providing you with a jpeg for your use as well, all free of charge. If you require something more complicated or have a sketch or drawing you would like to have made into a logo, we can take a look and see if we can help you out. If you are starting from scratch and looking for something amazing, please call a graphic designer!
~ Do you make the clothes?
We do not. All items in our showroom are purchased from suppliers and available here as samples. Of course, everything is for sale but we are happy to order in the sizes and colours that you need!
~ Can I buy my products elsewhere and bring them to JJ Stitch for decoration?
The short answer to this question is no but there are exceptions. If you need an item decorated that we cannot supply, you may be able to purchase it and bring it in if we are able to work with it (some things just aren't possible). In this case, we double our decoration price and have to warn that if any damage occurs to the item we cannot afford to replace it or compensate you in any way.
This policy can seem harsh and is our least favorite topic of conversation but the simple reason is a business basic. We cannot make money putting logos on your things. Our decoration prices are bundled with our products and if we aren't selling the product, we need to make more on the decoration. We often compare this to buying car parts online and expecting your mechanic to install them, not a very likely scenario.
